Cavern Course
Khao Sok National Park lies in the south of Thailand and is a stunning region stretching over 739sq km with 165sq km at its very heart.
Thick ancient rainforest surrounds the lake and huge limestone pinnacles soar to the sky.
The lake was created in 1982 when the Rajjaprabha Dam closed off the Pasaeng River offering an exciting adventure for underwater explorers.

What you will do
Over four dives this course will really extend your dive skills giving you expereince in a totally different environment.
- Theoretical Knowledge.
You will learn about the specialised equipment for Cavern Diving, the ecological and geological environment and special water conditions found in caverns. You will learn and understand the principals of trim in terms of how it effects your bouyancy for diving in caverns. You will be taught the prinicpals of gas management and how to calculate air turn around points.
- Practical Skills.
You will learn anti-silting propulsion techniques, how to properly lay lines for safe exploration,emergency procedures covering loss of visibility and our of air scenarios. By the end of the course you will be able to pland and conduct a cavern dive taking into account all theoretical and practical concepts learnt.

Who can do this course?
Anyone 18 years plus with a current Advanced Certification.
The Price of 19,000 Thai Baht includes…
- All main meals and 2 nights accommodation within the park.
- All tank fills.
- Park fees
- Your PADI Cavern Course tuition and certification.
- All transport and transfers from Koh Tao or a designated meeting point for the duration of the trip. At the end of the trip we include your transfer to Koh Tao or to a hotel or transport location of your choosing in Surathani or return to Koh Tao.
The Price does not include..
- Overnight accommodation in Chumpon or Surathani at the beginning or end of the trip.
- Soft drinks or beer.
- Gear Hire – please contact us with your requirements.
